Job description / Role
Description:
The Capacity planning operations manager is responsible for monitoring day to day capacity planning operational metrics across the FCs across MENA region in coordination with internal stake holders like FC operations, facilities team and engineering and category teams. This job requires someone who has operations experience in warehouse management with good stakeholder management and analytical skills. The job also requires skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives which will help to increase the storage capacity in the network. Also this role requires advanced excel skills for maintaining metrics and capturing data in required formats. He/she will be responsible to manage the available capacity across MENA region.
Key responsibilities:
· Own and manage the available storage capacity of all the FCs in the region and work with cross functional teams on identifying continuous improvement projects which will enhance available storage capacity in the network.
· Accumulate data from various sources and identify the relevant data out of it and present in a way that would help take action and identify the current issues.
· Foresee implications based on the projected storage capacity requirement during peak vs available storage capacity in the region and come up with innovative and optimal storage solutions to support peak requirement.
· Train and direct associates for action and conformance of norms and practices which will help in enhancing the available storage capacity in the FC
· Regular audit of the sites for various operational conformances, restrictions and norms of capacity planning and standard stow practices.
· Work with engineering design and FC launch project team to ensure all the design inputs are considered as per the standard requirements
Requirements
Basic Qualification:
· 3 to 4 years of experience in warehouse operations and management
· Strong MS office knowledge
· Excellent Communication skills - written and verbal
· Exposure to any WMS (Warehouse management system)
· Willing to travel with in MENA region
Preferred Qualification:
· Experience in managing warehouse storage capacity and planning
· Should have Good analytical and problem solving skills with a capability of setting priorities and working under pressure
· Must be able to multi-task, managing multiple sites simultaneously with attention to detail and high capability to work on different projects in parallel
