Job description / Role
Our client would like to hire a seasoned lawyer to support the capital markets and derivatives business and to manage a team.
* Providing legal advice to Front Office
* Drafting, reviewing and/or negotiating contractual documentation, and liaise, when necessary with external counsel
* Working in close cooperation with the front office teams in charge of structuring, originating and syndicating structured products and understand complex structures
* Taking all necessary steps to ensure a proper understanding of legal risks incurred and providing appropriate solutions in order to control and reduce legal risks including by implementing appropriate procedures and templates
* Legal analysis on new products and contributions for the New Product Committee
* Management of contractual documentation including ensuring that standard documentation and templates are up to date and coordination of legal policies
* Monitoring and anticipating regulatory changes and following up on any new developments in terms of local laws and regulations
* Managing dispute resolution processes as required
