Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose
* Surpass the cargo revenue target, by optimizing cargo mix, increasing yield, boosting load factor, leveraging network.
* Support revenue growth for assigned Hubs in liaison with Cargo Commercial team.
* Maximize capacity utilization & ensure correct cargo prioritization through load planning. Ensure high standard of service delivery in line with company’s overall objectives

Key Result Responsibilities
* Contribute to surpass agreed targets through capacity control & yield management by optimizing cargo mix, increasing yield, and boosting load factor.
* Improve revenue management through capacity/ demand forecasting with corresponding yield improvement based on demand and capacity trends, being cognizant of competitor activity.
* Manage daily capacity optimization on all flights/ trucks from UAE and/or assigned hub by appropriate prioritization of cargo, preparation of load plan, and replanning of offloaded cargo.
* Conduct benchmark analysis to keep abreast with competitors’ position/ actions, market conditions/ intelligence, customer needs, and revenue enhancing opportunities.
* Closely liaise with Cargo Commercial team to set pricing for each sector to facilitate maximizing revenue, optimizing commodity mix, and ensuring maximum utilization of capacity on the network with optimum yield leading to increased profitability on routes
* Assist Cargo Commercial team to boost revenue on low performing routes through adopting strategic pricing techniques and on high performing routes by enhancing yield/ uplift.
* Effective delivery of commercial analytics to support performance enhancement, constantly review/ evaluate commercial data, identify opportunities/ shortcomings, determine root causes, recommend solutions/ actions to Line Manager, and/or other relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure pricing fully, accurately, timely updated in the system.
* Ensure compliance with operational processes in cargo system and regulatory requirements.
* Achieve desired level of reliability for all shipments to be connected as booked.
* Coordinate with Finance, IT Departments, System Vendors on functions such as MIS, system issues, and ensure compliance with internal/ external regulations/ norms.
* Assist Cargo Commercial team with ongoing/ new projects and initiatives to enhance revenue and the customer experience. Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure the project scope and objectives are achieved as per deadline, quality, and accountability.
* Ensure compliance with Air Arabia’s policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (in management would be an advantage).
* Training in cargo pricing & capacity management is essential. Cargo operational experience is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluent in English language  

Work Experience
* At least 5 years working experience in cargo revenue management and/ or sales,
* At least 3 of which in the airline industry in a similar role (experience in narrow-body/ low cost airline is an advantage).
* Proven record of revenue optimization, increasing yield, achieving targets, & enhancing business performance.
* Knowledgeable in all IATA/ TACT regulations, airline cargo operations.
* Proven skills in analysing data, identifying issues, and recommending effective solutions.
* Possess effective, persuasive, negotiation, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to use a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
* Demonstrate the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
* Capable of understanding market trends and utilizing them for effective and sustained revenue enhancement.
