Our client is a leader in the Financial Services Industry based in Abu Dhabi, who is looking to employ a Senior Category Manager - Financial Services to assist in their Greenfield procurement function.
This is a sensational opportunity for a talented and experienced procurement professional with multinational best practise experience to progress their career with a reputable brand, who is known for looking after both their customers and employees.
The selected applicant will report to the Procurement Director and will be responsible for:
* Ensuring process compliance and delivering optimal savings for the Professional Services spend.
* The full end to end strategic sourcing cycle including category strategy, setting performance objectives and monitoring progress.
* Producing annual sourcing plans and strategy that are aligned with organisational & departmental requirements as well as Procurement and Commercial Management targets.
* Actively ensuring the instrumental development of procurement as a value add function to the organisation and aligning with the group strategy.
* Creation of and streamlining procurement processes.
Requirements
* Must be degree qualified, preferably in Procurement & Supply Chain.
* Must have CIPS
* 7+ years experience within a Best Practise procurement function.
* Strong leadership, team management and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Middle Eastern experience is preferred.
