Job Scope:

Job Title: Category Planning Assistant Manager -NAME
Department: Supply Chain - Innovations & Category Program Planning
Location: Jebal Ali

Background
- The role is required to fuel the growth through leading the change and delivering fast, slim and on time innovation projects with collaboration with all functions & sourcing unit team.
- The innovation planner designs the best supply route & the optimum supply model through make or buy analysis, he guides the multi-function team on what are the capacity & capability gaps and he designs the most convenient project timeline to balance among Cost, Speed & Risks.
- Through digital solutions the candidate will develop new solutions to simplify the process and the portfolio, keeping margins under control.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing supply chain strategic designs & tactical models to support Innovation projects.
- Challenge the targets, the success criteria and the key performance indicators & measures with the stakeholders.
- Review & close the gaps supply chain capacities & capabilities in terms of technology, systems & people in order to fit with the future growth & innovation plans.
- Lead SKU's rationalization plans to simplify the business by harmonization, clusterization & globalization.
- Resolve supply constraints that might emerge from day to day operations (shortage of material, greys)
- To develop, review & analyze the supply chain database to support the business partners with the necessary information for decision-making.
- Incorporating the internal & the external Information and do benchmarking to gaining competitive advantage from application of knowledge.

Key accountabilities
- To deliver innovations OTIF.
- To coordinate cost effectiveness projects.
- To Optimize customer service, inventory and business agility.

Requirements

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science: Industrial Engineering or Computer Science

Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply chain with at least 2 Years' experience in planning/ XRS.
- Proven experience in SC with a track record of regional and global interactions.
- Good understanding of financials & business models.
- Previous experience in project management and risk management.
- MS Project, Excel and Power-Bi professional proven experience are a must.
- Proven business discussions/negotiations cross functions experience is preferable.
- Has the digital future understanding, with preferably proven experience in SharePoint, Power automate.
