Job description / Role
Our client, a leading organization in the UAE, is currently looking for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst for their growing operations in Dubai.
As a CDD Analyst, you are expected to perform the following:
- Be the central point of contact for his segment/business line to ensure the High Risk Remediation Project for WBG is carried out / completed in accordance to process / standards agreed.
- Work with the CDD Manager to implement and participate in Business as usual reviews that will be carried out – either as part of the periodic review process or through the adhoc / triggered review which may emerge. (for EDD, SDD relationships)
- Communicate with Customers through letters / telephone / emails to ensure that all documentation / information required is provided as per the requirements / timelines stipulated
- Coordinate with the WBG RM of the relationship for the updated CDD / Remediation Form and ensure this has been completed in totality / completeness (as per standards)
- Ensure compliance of AML, CDD policies and procedures in accordance with Group, Local and Business Requirements.
Requirements
In order to be qualified for this role, ideal candidate must be a degree holder and with professional certifications in Compliance, AML such as CAMS. Candidate must have at least 3-5 years of banking experience in a recognized regulated market, of which at 2 years must be in a related role. It is also essential that you have a good understanding of KYC, CDD, FATCA, UBO and Name Screening and with sound compliance knowledge.
