Eaton Corporation - Electrical Sector is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to support Eaton's electrical business in the EMEA. The location for this position is Dubai, UAE.

The Channel Manager is an executive sales professional responsible for driving Eaton’s electrical sector’s regional success with a focused set of mission critical ME channel partners. The position has responsibility for coaching, directing and training sales professionals in their respective assignments to succeed at managing and developing the customer base, utilizing sales resources and the channels-to-market in order to achieve market share gains. They will be responsible for defining target projects, marketing programs (in collaboration with marketing), and identifying prime opportunities at assigned key accounts.

Initially the role will focus on PDC, ICD, LV systems but over time is expected to account for all of the electrical sector’s products and services and establishing Eaton as the premiere electrical solutions provider in the industry. The Channel Manager is responsible to enhance Eaton’s position and future advantage by developing and sustaining relationships in the channel partner community and their region.

The Channel Manager is responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs with Eaton's Electrical Wholesaler and Distribution Channel Partners in concert with Division Product Line and Field Sales management objectives. This position responsible for the selling of broad scope of Eaton Electrical products, services, and the sales financial results to their strategic accounts.

The Channel Manager is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the channel strategy in ME countries. The Channel Manager acts as an influencer and consultant by providing strategic direction to the Region Sales Manager and country sales team in the development and implementation of the channel strategy within their assigned region.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum 10 years of sales or marketing experience with distributors Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- MBA
- Electrical distribution industry expertise
- Strong English skills.
- Strong understanding of business fundamentals and financials.
- Strong team building and leadership skills.
- Be an Eaton Ambassador, coach, and influencer across all levels of the organization both inside Eaton and within the Channel Partner.
- Strong sales, marketing and negotiations skills to create win-win situations.
- Strong drive for results and self-directed personal initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Product knowledge, market knowledge and established customer relationships within the market area.
- Technical mindset and approach to problem solving.
- Develop and maintain account profile and sales plan for each target channel partner, specifying total EMEA and country opportunity, areas where we have the greatest likelihood of success, key decision makers, competitors, likely buying factors, recommended actions, and status of priority initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to grow into broader scoped role within the organization
