Job description / Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team, specializing in both cold and hot sections. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation of high-quality dishes, ensuring the impeccable execution of culinary offerings.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage either the cold or hot kitchen section, ensuring the timely preparation or plating of dishes.
• Collaborate with other chefs to maintain a seamless flow in the kitchen.
• Execute menu items specific to the assigned section with precision and creativity.
• Assist in developing and refining recipes.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure consistency.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate and delegate tasks effectively.
• Provide guidance and support to junior chefs within the assigned section.
• Train and mentor junior chefs on specific techniques and menu items.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Assist in managing inventory for the assigned section.
• Monitor and control food costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Enforce cleanliness standards in the assigned section.
• Bring creativity to the assigned section, contributing to the development of new dishes.
• Stay updated on culinary trends.

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
• 3-5 years of culinary experience, with expertise in both cold and hot sections.
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cuisines.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and styles.
