What you will be doing:
- Actively share ideas, opinions, and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
- Ensure consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards .
- Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
- Actively share ideas, opinions & suggestions in weekly Sous Chef meeting
- Ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate to minimize repeat visits
- Ensure proper hygiene as per Dubai Municipality
- Ensure all grooming, spot check and temperature control sheets are filled as required
- Minimize wastage / spoilage
- Daily checking of all buffet and function set ups to ensure appropriate equipment, food and staffing are in place and on time
- Ensure all cold food preparations for Banquets are in place 30 minutes before scheduled start times

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in Banquet and Five Star Luxury environment is a mist
- Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
- Add diplomas/certifications required if needed
