Chemical Sales Engineer (Indian National)

Job description / Role

Salary: up to 10,000 AED

Our Client is a well-known trading company with 25 years’ experience across the Rubber Industry, Lubricants and Adhesives Industries, Foam Industries and more, they are proud to hold solid reputation within the market for being a strong competitor as well as an employer of choice.

Due their current growth, they are seeking further support from an experienced Chemical Sales Engineer to support in the development of an existing base of clients in the India Region. To be successful in this role you will be an Indian National with a chemical engineering degree and experience into the Lubricants sector and have ideally worked for a trading company or a manufacturing company with a sales arm.

Your role will be to look after a growing portfolio of clients and also business develop further opportunities in the Indian Market. You will support the sale from all aspects including overseeing the management and delivery of the product. As a seasoned sales person you will be experienced in selling with high profit margins. Part of your role is also collection of payment and including your clients don't fall into bad debt. Experience with LC arrangements will be useful

As well as technical knowledge of raw chemicals in the lubricants field you will have a high attention and your organisation skills and planning skills will be used as you plan both the strategic approach to the market in which it will be essential to the success of the department.

Requirements

- Indian National
- Proven experience in technical Sales
- Chemical Engineering Degree Preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Team player
- A Valid driver’s Licence (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to travel
