Job description / Role
The Senior Internal Auditor will execute audits according to the approved annual Audit Plan, conducting special reviews, assignments, and investigations across our group. The focus will be on identifying areas of risk and control deficiencies and proposing solutions to mitigate these risks. The role may require travel, both within and outside the UAE.
Salary:
AED
20,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills:
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in the professional standards set by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
• Ability to independently draft audit reports.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a professional audit team.
• Persuasive presentation skills to effectively communicate and gain acceptance of audit recommendations.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Effective problem-solving capabilities.
Expected Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, along with an international professional audit qualification such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CA.
• 6-10 years of experience in internal audit, with prior experience at a Big 4 firm being advantageous.
