Employment: Full Time

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining Project/Program management according to project management policy. Develop execution plans and ensure all KPIs are fulfilled, updated, and developed. Advise on internal management issues including strategic objectives, organizational structures, policies, procedures, and review/validate performance/ Audit reports/ and periodical reports related to Strategic KPIs, Statistical reports

Accountabilities

• Manage OPM5 system and ensure it is implemented correctly
• Ensure progress reports/ risks and change requests are managed in a timely manner
• Support corporate performance on updating agencies/sectors plans as per the approved policy.
• Advise in the development of the annual budget and forecasting
• Evaluate and recommend adjustments during the implementation to satisfy project needs.
• Participate in Projects Portfolio Management, and identify projects priority criteria set every year.
• Participate in updating the Strategic Planning initiatives related to the company objectives.
• Benchmark the performance of Strategic Planning, against other entities.
• Audit ongoing projects in terms of their objectives and alignment with guidelines.
• Implement EMPO polices, Project management Policies, Asset Management, Risk management
• Direct and analyze strategic projects performance reports and statistical data to identify causes.
• Analyze & monitor the performance of Strategic Planning, design projects and studies.
• Advise directors accordingly & ensure mitigations are implemented based on findings.
• Ensure OPMS operational processes are updated, adhered to, and recommend yearly.
• Continuously review and update projects’ objectives to ensure conformity with strategic plans
• Conduct periodic reviews of the running programs/ projects, committees/teams.
• Ensure that key performance indicators are developed = to enable effective monitoring.
• Evaluate the consultants & contractors in terms of their capabilities & issues.
• Develop new initiatives to ensure sustainability and continual development of its operations.
• Prepare Reports and Presentations for the director as and when required.
• Prepare and manage the flow of meetings/workshops as well as other review meetings with DG office and CEO office are prepared with all presentations/reports raised on time.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering or Project management, Bachelor degree in Engineering: Civil Architecture from a recognized university. PMP training is recommended.

Additional Skills

• 10 years of relevant experience in project management and Project management Offices.
• Knowledge of Maximo, OPMS,ADDA,ERM, Budget and other organisational tools.
• Knowledge of quality, environmental and Health and Safety Management 'Systems such as ISO 900J, ISO 14001, 18001
