Job description / Role
Our client is a leading construction company based in the UAE with a established reputation for the delivery of high profile projects. They are currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their Marine division.
- Supervise activities on site in a timely and cost effective manner
- Monitor progress of work against construction programmes and submission of required site reports in accordance with Project Plan.
- Provide full support to the project manager
- Prepare method statements in consultation with Project Engineer
- Prepare records of allocation of resources, labour rate analysis and cost control in consultation with Project Manager to ensure adherence to project budgets.
- Carry out the specified inspections to ensure quality records are maintained and signed - off by the Project Manager
- Assist and ensure all surveying work as well as all other existing and future installations are sufficiently Responsible for daily site quantity calculation in order to forecast the material requirement, labour requirement plant and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in a relevant discipline (Civil Engineering)
- Minimum 3 years experience in Civil Marine works
- Previous experience working in the UAE
