Job description / Role
- Deputize for Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Follow up construction activities at site.
- Ensure the Contractor’s adherence to Construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.
- Assist in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, Materials, RFI, etc.).
- Provide all necessary on-site direction.
- Support in supervise site inspection staff as per Assistant Resident Engineer/Project Manager directions.
- Check measure of work done.
- Observe site safety practices.
- Report back as necessary to the Assistant Resident Engineer/Project Manager.
- Monitor contractor’s resource allocation.
- Assist in reviewing the project’s close out documents.
- Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Assistant Resident Engineer/Project Manager, and project Safety Representative.
- Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements.
Requirements
- Should have 10 years of strong work experience with Roads & infrastructure projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
- GCC experience will be an advantage preferably UAE experience with major infrastructure projects in Dubai.
- Should have good communication skills and reporting writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a multi-cultural team.
