Job description / Role
• Strive to implement the strategy which will ensure the high availability and performance of the different platforms
• Responsible of the overall Cloud infrastructure operating the platforms
• Responsible of the Local Area Network governance at Holding and across all subsidiaries
• Determines the sizing and specs of the platforms
• Establishes the connectivity guidelines in terms of firewalls, load balancers, reverse proxies, etc
• Drafts the infrastructure and network business continuity plan and ensures its implementation mainly through the setup of needed DR sites and appliances.
• Responsible of keeping securely the production credentials of all the services and platforms and of backing them up.
• Responsible to implement a Mobile Device Management system
• Responsible of the Unified Communication systems of the organization
• Responsible, through the network engineer in his/ her Team, of the secured channel implementation with different stakeholders
• Responsible, through the DevOps engineer in his/ her Team, of the application and platform packaging and deployment
• Responsible, through the Data engineer in his/ her Team, of the databases, data lakes and data warehouses set up.
• Reports to the Head of Engineering department
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
• 15 years of experience.
• Must show an excellent understanding of Cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in network technologies
• Excellent Knowledge of high availability processes and tools.
• Proficient in infrastructure architecture modeling.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interaction skills with business and technical stakeholders
