Job description / Role
NTS Group are working with a leading Hospitality company who are seeking a cluster GM to manage and coordinate the strategic and operational objectives for 2 new luxury 5 star hotels. This cluster GM role will typical be focused on ensuring the successful delivery and continuous improvement of day to day operations including oversight of brand standards, guest experience and all policies & procedures. The position will focus on the contribution to the formulation and implementation of the strategy for the hotels, ensuring that strategy is translated into annual operational business plans and that performance is monitored managed to ensure continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the management of department staff and teams by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, training and development to ensure high levels of engagement and competence, Contribute to managing change in your team by providing inputs for and taking part in change initiatives, programmes and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment and overseeing and ensuring compliance to all relevant QHSE management policies, procedures and controls across the hotels. You will also promote and drive continuous improvement across the hotels, including product development and innovation for F&B, Rooms and Engineering, in order to achieve the Group’s mission, vision and strategy, identify and take part in change initiatives, programmes and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment and coach and develop to continuously improve and establish a clear succession plan for the business at all levels. In terms of operations, you will oversee and direct internal hotel teams to ensure the successful and efficient operations of the hotels, covering management of all departments (food & beverage, rooms, and engineering), Oversee front office operations, guest services and housekeeping operations to ensure high-quality guest experience is delivered, hotel revenues and occupancy rates are maximised, and brand standards are maintained, Oversee food and beverage (F&B) operations across the hotel to ensure the overall smooth and economical running of F&B operations, Oversee all maintenance and planning across the hotels to ensure full availability and serviceability of hotel facilities, including all repair work, preventative maintenance and reconstruction work, whilst minimising disruption for guests, Review opportunities to create operational efficiencies and Prepare daily financial and business report review for the hotels.
Requirements
To be successful, you will already be working at a GM level and ideally have some pre-opening experience. Resort / leisure destination experience is a must as well as strong working relations & connections with all tour operators over Europe and other geographic locations. You will be dynamic, highly motivated and have solid resort GM experience, ideally in the region (UAE/Indian Ocean) and fully understand the tour operating business. German and/or Russian speaking skills would be highly advantageous however not essential. This role will be based in Fujairah so will only be suitable for candidates willing to work and live in this region.
