Job description / Role
Summary
- Ensure consistent application of the hotel's brand guidelines across all visual materials.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the hotel's visual identity.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Collaborate with external vendors, photographers, and printers to ensure high-quality production of materials.
- Create engaging designs for various print collateral such as brochures, flyers, banners, signage, and promotional materials.
- Design digital assets for online platforms, including social media graphics, website elements, and email campaigns.
- Design and maintain branded materials for the hotel, including stationery, menus, and in-room collateral.
- Ensure that all visual elements align with the hotel's image and standards.
- Assist in coordinating and directing photoshoots to capture high-quality images for marketing materials.
- Edit and retouch photographs to enhance their visual appeal.
- Design materials for special events, conferences, and promotions hosted by the hotel.
- Create visually appealing presentations for internal and external use.
- Stay informed about design trends, competitor branding, and industry best practices to continuously improve the hotel's visual presence.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Has a Diploma in Hospitality management or other relevant fields.
- Has maximum 2 years of experience in Graphic designing and marketing operations.
- Has organized and strong analytical skills.
- Has English communication in both written and spoken.
- Has ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
About the Company
Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
