Collections Administrator

Job description / Role

- Responsible for maintaining a complete debt collection portfolio using the support framework designed;
- Monitoring and managing collection efforts by continually auditing accounts and staff activity reports; developing successful new approaches and techniques;
- To be responsible for chasing outstanding debts from customers and meeting collection targets in order to maintain positive cash flow;
- To communicate courteously with internal and / or external customers by telephone, email and face to face, building positive relationships, investigating, responding and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time;
- To maintain productivity standards and to ensure that collection efficiency and productivity parameters are met;
- Carry out daily / weekly reviews with the Manager so that the Account managers are up to date with regards to accounts.
- Process weekly reviews with the Account managers to clarify the collection facing any problems;
- Monitor accounts constantly to identify any potential bad debt;
- Send reminder letters on timely manners as per the company’s policy;
- Optimize service quality;
- Minimize collection costs;
- Minimize account attrition.

Requirements

- 2 Years Min - Collections or Accounting Experience
- Experience Within Property Development/Real Estate Environment a PLUS

- Considerable knowledge of the laws and regulations of collection;
- Considerable knowledge of credit and collection techniques;
- Proven supervisory skill;
- Persuading customers to pay amounts due
- Knowledge of record-keeping and office practices and procedures;

Language Fluency: English. Arabic would be a plus
Current Location: UAE only
Duration: Permanent Position, 2 years contract
Probation: 6 months as per U.A.E labor law
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 9am - 6pm & Saturday, 12pm - 4pm

Gross monthly base salary: AED 5500 to AED 6500 (based on experience) + Benefits
