Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading local bank and looking for an experienced Senior Collections Manager for their Dubai Operations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a credit card collection team
- Assign employees responsibility for investigating and verifying financial status and reputation of prospective customers applying for credit, preparing documents to substantiate findings, and recommending rejection or approval of applications.
- Assign responsibility for investigation of fraud cases and possible legal action and collection for delinquent bills.
- Review collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding to evaluate effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures.
- Audit delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectible to ensure maximum efforts have been taken before assigning bad debt status to account.
- Liaise for delinquent accounts with external agencies

Requirements

- Minimum five years of experience in a collections environment
- Knowledge of preventative, productive and remedial financial counseling
- Strong management experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
