Position Summary

As the Regional Commercial Controller for the MEA region, you will assist the management to handle a multitude of complex countries, while you assume dual responsibility in facing both business and finance stakeholders across the organization.

You will co-pilot the business development and decision making in the region, while providing business insights and valued financial expertise. In doing so, you will ensure high quality management reporting, enable financial transparency and facilitate optimal resource allocation.

A day in the life of...
• Management of Regional Sales Reporting and Forecasting. Ensure accurate and timely monthly sales reporting, including providing analysis and insights into the results. Utilizing insights to develop sales forecast
• Monitors trade and marketing related spend, fostering a mentality of "challenging the usual", and instill business manager behavior / ROI culture. Optimize investments
• Create P&L awareness across the organization. Improve MEAC and Distributor team's business acumen through training and ongoing Finance and Sales Analysis
• Monitors and controls the marketing spend making sure that the budget is not exceeded, and allocation is done according to latest plan.
• Monitor and report Structural Cost expenditure, ensuring "on budget" mindset whilst driving efficient use of resources
• Actively takes part in the Monthly Business Planning Process, challenging the data input to ensure quality forecasting. Coordinates Revenue and Costs forecasts for region and customer (contribution)
• Promote Business Planning Best Practices (i.e. One Number Principles, planning cycles) and Tools across the organization/ market and ensure alignment with operational processes
• Ensure that planning tools work efficiently, working procedures are documented, and that there is integration and consistency within system and scope

Requirements

What will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree (Business/Finance)
• Ideally in FMCG with knowledge of product portfolio and brand profitability
• Experience within a network organization with both internal and external providers
• Participation on local efficiency and best practices projects and Internal Control Management
• Demonstrate strong understanding and experience in building financial models
• Ability to lead without direct authority
• Ability to think outside the box
• Arabic Language is a plus
