Commercial Manager - Stadiums/Museums

A boutique Consultancy firm is seeking a Commercial Manager who has previously worked on stadiums/museums/exhibition halls projects. The position is based in United Arab Emirates and will be managing a multi-million dollar project.

Main responsibilities:
• Lead the commercial delivery of prestigious projects
• Financial management of projects, putting together bids for new work and negotiating and agreeing contracts
• Responsible for the preparation and implementation of Commercial Strategies, including communication to the Senior Management Team and negotiations with the contractor when required
• Responsible for the assurance of compliance with obligations under the contract for the Employer and Contractor on behalf of the Employer
• Responsible for the assurance of the measurement, evaluation and negotiation of change
• Prepare, submit notification and detailed particulars for Extension of Time application and Statement at Completion
• Ensure the submission of progress payment applications, issuance of payment certificates, receipt of payment

Requirements

• You must have a degree in Quantity Surveying or engineering related field
• Preferably MRICS/MCIOB/other further educational qualification
• Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience i.e. mix of work on stadium/museum/ exhibition halls
• At least 10 years in a similar position, GCC experience preferred
• Must understand FIDIC contracts
