Communications Specialist - Group HR - Al Futtaim Group - Dubai, UAE

This role is accountable for coordinating all aspects of HR Communications, including internal and external HR communications via various channels, project communications and management of HR events.

The role of the HR Communications Specialist is to support the Head of HR Communications and PMO, HRBP-HR in:
- Development, management and quality control of centralized HR Communications (both internal and external)
- Development and implementation of project communication plans
- Development and maintenance of HR collateral in line with brand guidelines
- Coordination of HR meetings & events, such as the HR Town Hall
- Management of communication technologies & communication tools/channels

Description of Accountability:

HR Communications:
- Development & management of communication tools; such as newsletters, magazines & online communication tools; such as intranets, websites, communication sites and reporting dashboards
- Quality control of content for external communication tools and collateral
- Coordination of HR meetings and events; such as the HR Town Hall meetings and workshops

HR Projects Communications:
- Support Project Managers with the development and implementation of communication plans and the development of relevant collateral
- Provide regular relevant reports to stakeholders

HR Collateral & Technologies:
- Coordinate and support with the development of HR collateral in line with brand guidelines
- Manage communication technologies and vehicles
- Provide support to HR Managers in development of collateral using online tools

Systems Management
- Stakeholder management with the system providers, users and content providers
- Accurate content management
- Provide regular reports to the stakeholders via online tools

Budget Management:
- Ensure all HR Projects are within budget
- Regular updates to the Head of HR Communications & PMO, HRBP-HR on budgets for HR Communications and Projects

Requirements

- Relevant Degree or Diploma, an advantage
- 2-5 years of Communications & Project Management experience is preferred
- Great attention to detail, the ability to work strict deadlines and under pressure.
- Effective stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Excellent writing & communications skills; fluency in English is an essential requirement
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a communications related role
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and work with senior executives
- A proactive, flexible outlook with the ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Computer skills - excellent knowledge of Windows is required (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, IBM WebSphere, Success Factors and Adobe InDesign/Photoshop will be an advantage
- Creative mind-set and 'can-do' attitude
