Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE:
To provide administrative support and services which assist in the smooth operation of the bank’s Board and committees, and support the development of ADCB’s governance framework to enable the bank to deliver upon its commercial and customer priorities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Board Secretariat:
- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the bank’s Board and its committees to the required standard and assist in ensuring that Board/Board Committees’ directions are followed up
Governance Framework:
- Provide administrative support to ensure that policies, processes and procedures pertaining to Board Secretariat, corporate secretarial and governance matters are in place and continuously reviewed to ensure that ADCB and its subsidiaries adequately implement best governance practices as appropriate, and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Company Secretarial Administration:
- Provide administrative support for the PJSC and all subsidiaries to ensure efficient operation and coordination of the bank’s company secretarial activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a governance-related division
Knowledge and Skills:
- General knowledge and understanding of business and/or banking terms and expressions
