Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading international banking group. Our client is looking to hire a Compliance Officer for their Dubai head office.
You will manage all matters relating to adherence to the Central Banks Policies, procedures, rules and regulations whilst keeping up-to-date with regulatory change. In addition you will manage upstream risk assessments and due diligence, ensuring suspicious activity reports (SARs) from the business are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner. You will also keep abreast of all relevant regulations related to anti-money laundering/account opening
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree relating to business management or finance. Experience in Private Banking would be beneficial but is not essential. You should have the ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing within all levels of the organisation. You should also be able to handle confidential information in a professional and discrete manner.
