Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of this position is to provide a quality audit service in order to verify compliance with the different elements of the Integrated Management System, and make recommendations to encourage continuous improvement of the operations and maintenance of Serco Dubai Metro.

To be responsible in assisting in the development and implementation of a risk based programme of audits against all elements of the management system; ensure its timely implementation and delivery, assist in the development of a risk based programme of supplier audits; ensure its timely implementation and delivery, assist in identification of potential deficiencies in the SDM documentation and provide practical and meaningful suggestions for improvement/correction, Undertake audits to determine the effectiveness of, and compliance with, the elements of the Integrated Management System; and produce meaningful, comprehensive and robust audit reports in a timely fashion.

Conduct stakeholder review meetings for audits and agree pragmatic corrective actions for any areas of deficiency with the relevant stakeholders, and monitor progress of implementation and agreed actions, Ensure that all findings and corrective actions arisen from audits are uploaded in the system (Q-Pulse) in a timely fashion, Assist with the production of statistics and management reports on the performance of the management systems and audit activities, Provide guidance in quality management and the philosophy of continuous improvement across the organisation, promote the sharing of good practice. Work with the Lead Auditor in analyzing and identifying outliers and trends and make suggestions for improvements; Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the Risk, Quality and Compliance Manager.

As for the SAE and Information Security Responsibilities, you need to be aware of the Integrated Management System and the content of the Safety, Assurance Environment and Information Security Policy Statements, Understanding of personal responsibilities and contribution to achieving compliance with the Integrated Management System requirements, (including but not limited to competence to perform safety critical roles, legal requirements, control measures arisen from environmental impacts and aspects.

Job safety analysis and information security risk assessment) and the potential consequences of departure from the arrangements in place to deliver the commitments stated in the policies statements above, to exercise their personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by the acts or omissions. Promote a good SAE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties,Lead by example and look at ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimise the generation of waste through personal performance and raise recommendations on how to improve existing processes on this regard within/outside their departments through their Line Manager.

Requirements

Ideal candidate must have a degree holder or high diploma of postsecondary education in a related engineering discipline, Hold a recognised auditing qualification. Has Knowledge of railway organisational structures and standards, workflows, procedures and terminology.

Minimum 3 years, preferably 5 years, of work experience as a certified quality auditor in a rail industry; Strong audit-related expertise, including understanding of compliance requirements, monitoring guidelines, and standards e.g. ISO9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001;Experience in the development of effective audit programs using standard techniques.
