Job description / Role
A global commodities risk and trading company based in Dubai for over 10 years are seeking a Compliance Officer with a minimum of 2 years UAE experience. As the organisation is regulated by the Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), the candidate required should be aware of such legal compliance and governance and has perhaps already achieved their SCA qualification.
Joining a medium sized and exceptionally busy team you will report directly to the CEO and will therefore be given guidance and development throughout this role. You will be expected to monitor all risk and trading matters within the SCA and international guidelines and prepare all documents concerning KYC, AML, due diligence and overall compliance for clients across a global network.
As an ongoing process you will also assist in the development of new policies, procedures and forms to ensure all are fit for purpose and updated alongside compliance and legalities that are changed and renewed within the industry. You will also manage client relationships by way of timely updates and document collation throughout the process. The role will also include the supervision of the archiving processes and all document management systems to ensure highly confidential information is secure and all associated administration is sound and compliant within all files at all times.
Requirements
You will be a very proactive and commercially aware individual able to manage multiple deadlines and client relationships and expectations. It is essential that candidates are able to speak an exceptionally high standard of English languages due to interacting with clients on a daily basis and hold a degree within legal, finance or compliance.
