Compliance Officer, DIFC (Financial Services)
A category three financial services firm in the Dubai International Financial Centre, is recruiting a compliance officer to be part of their growing regulatory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Chief Compliance Officer in ensuring that the firm complies with all relevant external laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities.
- Preparing and providing regular compliance reviews and AML reports to the senior management and Board of Directors.
- Monitoring the company’s systems making sure the business complies with all applicable rules as well as assists in drafting and handling the compliance monitoring programme.
- Assist in risk classification and identifying the high and low risk clients.
- Staying up to date with all new releases from the DFSA, making sure the business is complying with the federal and DFSA legislation.
- Supporting in any sort of preparatory work prior to DFSA review visits.
- To carry out screening of sanctioned entities, conduct investigations and regularly update blacklisted accounts.
- Assist in conducting annual trainings on Compliance and AML
Requirements
- Degree - Banking, Business, Accounting, Finance or Legal related
- 4-6 years of compliance experience
- Knowledge of AML policies, Sanction procedures and the regulatory frameworks
Only candidates with UAE regulatory experience will be considered.
