Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading organisation in the UAE, is currently looking for a Compliance/Risk Management & Anti-Money Laundering Officer for their team in Dubai.

As a Compliance/Risk Management & Anti-Money Laundering Officer, you will manage all matters relating to adherence to the Central Banks Policies, procedures, rules and regulations whilst keeping up-to-date with regulatory change. In addition you will manage risk assessments and due diligence, ensuring suspicious activity reports (SARs) from the business are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner. You will also keep abreast of all relevant regulations related to anti-money laundering/account opening; diagnose, develop and monitor the procedures to ensure organisation wide compliance with the regulatory, financial and core operational system requirements.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a Degree relating to business management or finance, with 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role and in DFSA. Experience in Credit Insurance/Private Banking would be beneficial but is not essential. You should have the ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing within all levels of the organisation.

You should also have In-depth knowledge of the structure and operation of compliance and AML functions at commercial / investment banks; and sound understanding of local / international laws (as applicable) concerning to compliance and AML. Additionally, you are expected to handle confidential information in a professional and discrete manner.
