Construction Project Manager - Property Development - AED 35K/month + benefits

Our client is among the most highly respected conglomerates in the Middle East, their portfolio of companies are responsible for managing well established multinational brands across several industries including automotive, real estate, logistics, interior design and IT. They are looking for Construction Project Manager – Property Development who will be responsible for the construction site management for the allocated projects to ensure the highest level of service. You will oversee, monitor and coordinate the projects to ensure they are completed on or before time, to budget and to the specified quality standards.

Reporting to GM – Property Development and you will be responsible to;
- Review and plan construction methodology of Tender Handover.
- Method Statements – review, implement checks as appropriate.
- Inspection and Testing – implement quality checks as Works progress.
- Monitor site activities of the subcontractors.
- Implement corrective actions to non-conformance.
- Ensure materials stored and handles properly.
- Weekly site inspection.
- Review and report all labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
- Manage the obtaining and review of all necessary permits and licenses.
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
- Oversee the establishment of the project site and facilities.
- Oversee the effective operation of the site through conducting regular site visits and quality checks.
- Ensure the require site training/s are undertaken.
- Ensure weekly “toolbox talks” and maintain register.
- Ensure material supply – verify material on receipt.
- Ensure the identification of potential risks to the development projects, recording of such risks, implement a risk mitigation strategy and manage the project risk to ensure the Chairman’s property developments are completed to meet with the project’s objectives.

Requirements

- Western Educated with minimum of Construction related Bachelor Degree.
- Preference for PMP qualified or RICS accredited.
- Preference for Master’s Degree in Construction or Property.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in major development projects of minimum AED 250M.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in GCC preferably Dubai.
- Specialist study in Contracts formation, management and enforcement especially FIDIC related study.
- Experience of start to completion delivery of construction projects.
- Experience of managing multiple development projects at the same time.
- Experience in supervising high level of finishes.
