Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Oversee the daily responsibilities of email deployment, including collaboration with internal stakeholders regarding content, testing and the tracking, analysis and distribution of campaign results to all applicable stakeholders.
- Take ownership of specific programs related to customer engagement, cross-sell and up-sell.
- Apply best practice to new and existing campaigns.
- Design the online content calendar for website and social media based on customer engagement and cross-sell strategy, commission content, publish and monitor results.
- Responsible for the set up and QA of automated email marketing campaigns and sharing results with stakeholders.
- Understand customer segmentation and the implications on campaign development.
- Undertake data enhancement activities to build predictive models.
- Ensure data loaded or extracted is fit for purpose, accurate and of the highest quality available.
- Leads cross-functional discussions with internal stakeholders regarding deployment process while also taking the lead on overall content/distribution strategy and testing
- Effectively track and understand key performance metrics which directly affect overall campaign performance, and translate that understanding into goal-setting and the successful delivery of those goals. Performance metric examples include Open Rate, Click-to-Open Rate, Delivery Rate, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate and Unsubscribe Rate
- Manage and test design, performance tracking and make optimization recommendations
- Drive the email campaign program towards a more targeted personalized approach with more automation of behavioral triggered campaigns and improved productivity
- Conduct competitor research and monitors industry best practices and changes and develops a strategy to successfully implement those findings into day-to-day operations

Requirements

- Graduate in Business/Marketing or professional marketing qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing
- Direct to consumer experience
- Financial services experience
- Knowledge of the email marketing campaign process
- Experience of testing and implementing automated campaigns
- Strong written communication, project management and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with HTML
- Strong statistical and analytical skills for both data, root cause and process flow analysis, with the ability to define and create metrics, reports, tools and other resources to quantify and analyze results
- Used to work in a demanding, constantly changing and fast moving organization
- Capable of understanding and driving technology as a key component of the business
