Job description / Role
- Management of the cost planning of the projects from Inception, to the pre and post construction phases.
- Cost management and contract administration
- Preparation and review of contractual documents to ensure compliance with program requirements
- Preparation and letting of construction trade packages.
- Writing contractual letters to clients, consultant and subcontractors
- Cost control of labour and materials.
- Certification of progress claims and variations
- Preparation and finalization of final accounts
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in claims, contract administration or quantity surveying with 5 years in UAE
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Strong leadership abilities with high levels of energy and drive to progress projects.
- Must be able to work independently reporting to the company Director
- Superior communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive work environment is critical to this role.
- Experience in tower building and Interior Fit Out projects of value up to AED 50 million
- Excellent English speaking and writing as all formal correspondence will be in this language
