Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1. Preparation of Project budget through Cost planning, Forecasting, Estimating, Cost analysis, Cost-in-use studies and Value management and Payment Certificates, Variations etc via the Internal Systems.

2. Administration of Tender procedure which includes but not limited to review of Tender documents, preparation of Bill of Quantities, Invitation letters, Tender evaluation and recommendation, review and process Contract documents etc.

3. Contract administration in terms of making Contractual correspondences, dealing with Contract bonds, Guarantees and Insurances, Change Management Variations, Contractor’s claims for Extension of Time and Prolongation/Disruption Costs.

4. Reviewing Contractor’s notifications for Extension of Time and Prolongation/Disruption Costs claims, for its admissibility and compliance with conditions of the contract and advise the management on completeness and adequacy of the supporting documentation as to the detailed particulars / contemporary records submitted towards the claims

5. Certify payment applications / invoices for consultants, contractors, suppliers etc. in accordance with the contract, and provide feedback to the management for any inadequacy or non-compliance with the contract or otherwise with company standard procedures.

6. Assist in the preparation of Final Account. Review project close-out documents and taking proactive steps towards closing out of the projects / contracts with due co-ordination with concerned site staff and external bodies as necessary.

7. Prepare monthly / quarterly Progress reports identifying achievements and delays / problems with proposed corrective measures etc.

Requirements

Bachelor in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
At least 10 years of experience of which minimum 5 years must be in the GCC assuming similar roles & responsibilities in the Contracts & QS Practices.

4. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
