Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide weekly/monthly reports like but not limited to, inventory turnover, stock ageing, Buy to sell ratio, Non-moving/slow items, Expired/near to expiry items, returned orders etc.
• Maintain the internal transfers between the warehouses and has to ensure that the goods purchased for specific warehouse has entered in that particular warehouse
• Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory counts (yearly/monthly.).
• Accountable on all the stock adjustment transactions.
• Booking all the damaged/expired items for write-off, and follow up on physical disposal of goods with local authorities (MOH)
• Responsible to manage the physical count
• Physical vs. system, shelf to system and system to shelf for all warehouses
• Check the expiry date
• Check the barcode Vs. the system
• Check and control all the transfers between warehouses, and ensure no stock in the transitory warehouse
• Check and control the consignment warehouse
• Count and control the trainer’s warehouse, office warehouse, showroom warehouse
• Develops the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate saving, rationalize inventory and maximize the working capital available.
• Controls perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks, and investigates discrepancies and shortages in company warehouses, 3PL’s, showrooms, and other virtual warehouses.
• Based on suggested and computer-monitored order listing, s/he performs regular cycle counts of inventory and assists in conducting periodic and spot physical inventory checks and counts.
• Organizes and maintains the inventory floor area in company warehouses and showrooms to ensure efficient material storage, monitoring, and handling.
• Conducts periodic stock reconciliations on stocks between all countries system warehouses and the 3PL warehouses stock levels.
• Reports and investigates any discrepancy being it in quantity, cost, or quality.
• Periodically visit countries to conduct a stock take in the showrooms and other virtual warehouses, and conduct on the ground stock audits in 3PL’s warehouses to verify quality and quantity, storage conditions, and stock handling.
• Creates, improve, and maintains accurate written procedures for the primary inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented.
• Continuously improve the stock take and stock management SOP’s, and ensure proper and thorough understanding to all countries logistics staff.
• Explain whenever needed to any involved party the stock management principles, and the purpose of having proper stock levels and why audits need to happen regularly.
• Creates daily reports to control the key critical areas of the stock system and address any discrepancy.
• Performs miscellaneous duties, which are work-related as assigned.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Excellent Communication Skills with 5-8 year experience in Logistics and Inventory control
• 2-3 year experience in a supervisory position in UAE
• Previous experience in Beauty/Pharma industry is desired
• Proficient in MS Excel with strong analytical mindset.
