Job description / Role
We are looking for a skilled Cost and Management Accountant to join our team in the FMCG industry. The role will be based in UAE-Dubai and will involve working in the foodstuff and manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing costs, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review cost structures to identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular inventory valuation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product pricing, costing, and profitability analysis.
- Participate in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support audit processes as required.
- Provide day-to-day costing requirements including required costing to the marketing team and upgradation of system cost roll-up.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, ICWA) is a must
- Proven experience as a Cost and Management Accountant in the FMCG industry or related manufacturing and distribution sectors.
- Should have experience in product costing in SAP ERP
Product costing - Knowledge of BOMs and Cost roll-up & SAP experience is needed
