Cost Controller

Job description / Role

The Cost Controller is responsible for carrying out all activities:

- Pertaining to Budget & Cost Control for restaurant projects.
- Ensuring the efficient execution of the cost control activities, its full compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls and its development of detailed and value-added analysis.
- Develops adequate policies, procedures and processes to maintain efficient operational excellence in order to achieve the companys strategic objectives.
- Track all expenditures related to each project.
- Use of all accounting software.
- Keep records of all purchases, invoices and receipts. Keep all files up to date and organized.
- Keep records of all suppliers, prepare statements, make payments and stay in touch with them regarding purchases and payments.
- Create financial reports including cash flow statements and monthly P&L.
- Costing of recipes and entering it in to the system.
- Doing the payroll in a timely manner
- Be responsible for bank reconciliation.
- Handle the petty cash in a responsible manner and keep records.
- Stock take at the end of each month.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

- Bachelor's of Commerce / Accounting
- At least 2-3 years of experience in similar field (hospitality) is a advantage but not essential

Required Skill Set:
- Analytical, Problem solver, Good employee management, Organization decision-making and communication skills.
