Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

VHR is currently looking for experienced cost controllers to support the engineering division within our prestigious client's aviation operation situated in the UAE.

The cost controller will be responsible for ensuring timely, efficient, and accurate processing of Supply Chain invoices via a stable interface with all stake holders.

This must be done by the development of effective processes so to ensure invoices are cleared with finance in a timely manner, whilst at the same time maintaining over view of relevant costs.

Additionally, the Cost Controller will monitor and submit cost control reports and assist in maintaining and setting up the department budget.

Responsibilities:
* Ensure all invoice contents are accurate and as per signed contracts; and attach all relevant supporting data prior to submission for approval.
* Respond, liaise and follow up with internal and external departments/organisations as required to resolve all disputed technical invoices.
* Document, track and report all invoices handled and update records as required.
* Ensure budget targets are achieved by supporting Stake holders in the material costs, ordering cost and manpower cost.
* Management of any projects
* Assist in developing new processes and solutions in order to streamline and improve cost control functions.
* Prepare and submit regular invoice and cost status reports as required.
* Support the preparation of the department's annual Budget through data analysis and filtration.
* Any cost saving initiatives as and when encountered.
* Any other duties as deemed appropriate by Supply Chain Management.

The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating shift pattern as per the business requirements.

Requirements

* Minimum 10 years' experience in Finance related job.
* 5 years' experience in an aviation environment.
