Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Build solid relationships within the UAE customers, as well as business development team.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of company services to identify profitable business opportunities within the UAE.
• Direct business development efforts by understanding the market trend and creating strategies to expand market presence.
• Develop the business development strategy, as well as recommending improvements for clients’ operations in alignment of the business development strategy.
• Review and approve all the technical & commercial proposals prepared by the BD associates, ensuring that services and terms included in the proposals are aligned in the best interest of the client and Organization as well.
• Research emerging trends in healthcare and recommending new company strategies on service offering to satisfy customers’ needs and market competency.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business within the entire UAE.
• Present business or marketing opportunities to company executives and management.
• Lead the implementation of BD and Sales automation software to best meet the company’s needs and drive the team to full digitalization, accessing information with ease, making sure that the company’s database is always up to date with all opportunities/leads brought by the BD team.
• Have overall responsibility for; in alignment with the management, BD department performance, analyse and resolve challenges, and take appropriate actions to achieve the set Sales and Financial goals.
• Create and communicate the department vision for the future of the business, sales growth and area of expansion within the UAE.
• Maintain a culture and work environment that promotes and inspires an active, continuous improvement philosophy in regards to Organization services.
• Direct and solely responsible for the BD action plans and budgets that drive and support all efforts that meet the set KPI’s for both department and individually.
• Develop internal business practices that ensure all Organization BD team, suppliers and customers; new or prospective are continually learning and aware of Organization initiatives in commitment to excellence of quality and providing top-calibre services.
• Define measurable goals that develop and enhance processes, systems and practices, providing means and resources required to accomplish Organization business goals.
• Promote and publish the company and its activities by means of building and sustaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and organizations important to the company and its potential for profitable growth.
• Monitor the UAE marketplace trends and changes, in order for Organization ability to compete, so as able to respond to any challenges that may be presented.
• Manage commercial proposals and ensure competitive pricing without jeopardizing the quality of services offered.
• Set targets quarterly for BD Associates to meet the desirable target provided by the management, which will contribute to the Organization annual growth.
• Prepare BD and Sales activity plans accordingly geared towards a profitable and sustained growth.
• Maintain the competitive position of the business and balance it with equitable distribution of resources.
• Analyze the different UAE market sectors and trends within the Healthcare industry, specifically with Home Care and Occupational Health business segment, determine their impact on the business, design and execute the most appropriate market approach strategy.
• Maximize on UAE market opportunities, creative value proposition, and adapt innovative market trends by acquiring current and updated surveys.
• Secure all essential relationships with UAE alliances and strategic partners for the long-term growth.
• Foster an achievement-oriented culture based on continuous learning principles where staffs are motivated and rewarded for both individual and team contributions.
• Manage the business for profitable growth and implement recognized business planning methodologies, annual budgets and performance reporting based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure a profitable ROI.
• Establish quality assurance; in collaboration with the Quality Supervisor, and customer satisfaction standards/benchmarks and achieve compliance thereof.
• Oversee adherence to the quality system that ensures service quality.
• Measure the quality process by monitoring customer service, service rejections and contract terminations via statistical methods and benchmarking.
• Implement performance-based reward system.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or any Business Management related field.
• A Master's Degree of any of the above major is advantageous.

Experience
• Three (3) – Five (5) years’ Management to Senior Management experience
• Five (5) - 10 years’ of Sales or Marketing experience
