Country Manager - Automotive

Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a large Group with their office based in Dubai.

As a Country Manager, you will be responsible in managing the operations, developing the business and increase profitability of the Automotive business of the company

You will be responsible for driving results through strong teams, effective, desired customer interactions, as well as solid management of inventories, sales processes and marketing. You would also be responsible for managing the activities of all sales staff to ensure sales targets and customer service levels are achieved. Forecast sales goals and objectives for the sales team. Manage and monitor daily activity of sales managers and sales staff to ensure sales volume and productivity goals are met.

Develop effective sales staff by communicating expected performance standards, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching, motivating and mentoring. Conduct and lead regular sales staff meetings. Work directly with the general manager to create marketing plans and sales promotions. Manage web portal and online presence. On-going customer engagement and communication. Respond to customers concerns to ensure full resolution. You will synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.

Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships. Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained. Agreeing to annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating plan to deliver monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash. Conduct extensive research and develop marketing regarding the UAE market and production teams with local expertise.

Requirements

To be successful you would ideally possess 12+ years of relevant experience in Business Management preferably within the Industry of Automotive and Luxury Cars. Having a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration or any related course with excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Demonstrated leadership abilities to develop and motivate successful sales teams with a successful background in financial/budgeting role.
