WSP is looking for a Creative Design Manager to develop and manage a high performing team of graphic designers and skilled administrators who uphold superior quality standards in all that they do.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Using your experience to understand the challenges that our people face in presenting our expertise to end clients and recognise opportunities for improving client experience.
* Develop a creative team that can add value to client work by ensuring that the WSP brand experience is consistent across all client deliverables.
* Design and manage a high performing team of graphic designers and skilled administrators who uphold superior quality standards in all that they do.
* Showcase experience of developing a high performing and detailed orientated culture within a new team
* Champion and promote WSP's Way of Working in all aspects of the role
* Proactively develop & manage a schedule of works; monitoring & forecasting work for each member of the team, allowing for collaboration and efficient resourcing
* Establish a robust project management system and 'Way of Working' including a creative review process for the design team in collaboration with the Brand Design Team. (Setting out key milestones, timelines and clear expectations)
* Collaborate closely with members of our Brand and Work Winning teams to ensure quality of deliverables meets business and client expectations
* Develop relationships with BU stakeholders and project leads, scheduling work to meet strict deadlines whilst supporting internal engagement and other client / project deliverables
* Proactively offer support to project teams and act as a 'go-no go' sign off for report submittals using WSP brand guidelines and Way of Working to Quality Check (QC) deliverables.
* Weekly BU Leadership Team engagement to support on client presentations and urgent client requests
* Maintain brand consistency and style guides by working closely with Brand Design Team.
* Support WSP's approach to sustainability by promoting digital solutions
* Promote company policies when developing deliverables.
* Encouraging teams to consider inclusive language, company descriptions, HSE and Quality requirements, etc
* Pioneer change management within the team, constantly reviewing and assessing processes and procedures to ensure our services exceed internal/client demands
Requirements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
* Have professional level competency across the entire Adobe suite, including Indesign, and Illustrator
* Demonstrate experience in briefing and managing others where production requires additional skills.
* Advanced Microsoft Office user with an eye for detail
* Experience in designing and implementing teams within large organisations
* Confident and experienced in presenting and articulating ideas and project plans
* Strong project management skills
