Job description / Role
- Encoding the credit limits after confirmation is obtained from documentation unit that documents are in order or have been properly deferred or waived and double check final entries by comparing the system and approval.
- Follow up of existing discrepancies / deficiencies in security documentation for all loans which have been disbursed.
- Maintaining accuracy with regards to application of interest rates, commission, charges and documentation t fees.
- Processing day-to-day transactions – Loan draw downs (conventional and syndicated loans).
- Carryout monthly activities such as review of limits in Kapiti, amendment of interest rates of Overdraft pricing linked to Fixed Deposit and deferring loan instalments or extending loan maturity date.
- Liaise with concerned departments for provisioning of accounts, customer grade changes, suspension of interest changes and passing write-off entries.
- Preparation of application for loan draw downs, repayment changes, loan settlements and collection of multiple fees like management fees, commitment fees, processing fees.
- Issue instructions to CAD for release of excess margin held against facilities as per approval.
- Maintenance of Bank and Customer Limits as per approval.
- Preparing Monthly Activity Report on rotation illustrating the total volume of transactions processed by the department in each month.
Requirements
- Knowledge and use of banking software systems, basic PC skills and common MS applications like Excel and Word.
- Good knowledge of English language (both written and spoken).
- Good knowledge of Bank's financial system.
- Very good knowledge of Banking Products / Corporate Credit Administration functions.
- Team worker, ability to work under pressure, fast learner, attention to details.
