Credit Controller

Job description / Role

This new vacancy of Credit Controller is for those who have solely managed aged debt as a Credit Controller with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience. The successful individual needs to be tenacious and focused to track payment due dates across a large MENA region via excel. It is expected that you will be an excellent communicator across all levels of seniority and be able to negotiate to build strong relationships with the clients to encourage a deeper understanding of their own internal processes. You will posses the autonomy to manage bespoke payment plans and schedules in order to recover the aged debt in the best way possible for the organisation. The Credit Controller will also monitor all payment due dates and perform timely reminders to maintain full control of the collections process. You will also provide regular reports to the Senior Management Team with regards to revenue obtained, cash flow and forecasting of collections.

Our client is an award winning, humanitarian manpower provider to countries in conflict across the Middle East and Africa. Due to an increase in new projects, there is now a demand for an individual to solely concentrate on the credit control function, situated alongside the finance team.

Requirements

To be considered for this vacancy you should possess at least 1-2 years’ experience in a Credit Control role and be able to work with autonomy and persistency to ensure the outstanding debt is fully recovered. The ideal candidate will also hold a relevant accountancy and finance qualification and possess an exceptionally high standard of the English language to near native standard. Those candidates from overseas wishing to return to Dubai are also encouraged to apply. Part time applicants will also be considered for this vacancy.
