Job description / Role
• Analyze and manage bunker credit risk including establishing and monitoring limits
• Manage model of selling on credit terms
• Maintain the full overview and knowledge about all present credit lines
• Monitor and evaluate active accounts to reduce or prevent bad debt losses
• Establish and monitor policies and procedures and ensure that standards and procedures are followed
• Assess Counterparty ratings
• Perform periodic credit reviews, investigate provisions for bad debt and bad debt handling
• Recommend changes in the credit policy to Senior Management
• Establish and quantify the organization’s level of risk they are prepared to accept
• Manage relations with the bunker traders and provide ongoing training of sales people/back office and look for ways to help the sales department achieve its goals
Requirements
• 3 years’ of experience on credit risk management role in Oil sector
• Min Bachelor degree in Business Management / Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting;
• Familiar with banking credit business process;
• Ability to write the credit risk report;
• Understanding of the risk issues across a wide variety of corporations in MENA region;
• Excellent analytical, communications and interpersonal skill
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Commercial awareness;
• Numerical skills and the ability to evaluate costs;
• Planning and organization skills;
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
• Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure
• Proficiency in use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
