Job description / Role
An opportunity to work with a leading global player in the pharmaceutical sector
Reporting to the General Manager Marketing, this role will lead a team comprising of a Marketing Director and Regional Brand Managers with budget responsibility of close to half a million USD and a shared P&L accountability. As a Regional Lead you will work towards implementing marketing/commercial strategies for the critical care/hospital portfolio to ensure achievement of business strategies and growth in the region. Set strategic direction based on customer insights, lead regional marketers to execute portfolio strategies, forecast and track regional market performance.
Insight driven decisions will play an important role when it comes to strategy, messaging and positioning of global brand material. Identify and develop effective relationships with customers, which have regional reach and ensure that the portfolio is positioned as a leading, innovative and ethical provider of health care solutions.
Requirements
- 10 years marketing experience in relevant operational/commercial roles within the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry with hands on P&L exposure
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred
- Broad knowledge and experience of the relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical environment in the Middle East & African region
- Should have worked in a matrix organisation and managed dotted line reports
