Dam Section Head - Concrete Works

My client is a leading international contractor who specialise in oil and gas and marine projects throughout the world. They are currently looking to recruit a tunneling section head (concrete works). The role will include overseeing the construction of the following dams’ plinth and foundation, RCC dams’ body including the upstream face of Grout Enriched RCC, water stop joints and drainage holes in dams’ body, Precasting and installation of L-shape walls at the downstream face, Formation of galleries within the dams’ body.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in engineering and should have proven experience in the construction management of RCC dams. Experience should include:

• Construction of dams’ plinth and foundation.
• RCC dams’ body including the upstream face of Grout Enriched RCC (RCC experience is ESSENTIAL).
• Construction water stop joints and drainage holes in dams’ body.
• Precasting and installation of L-shape walls at the downstream face of the dams.
• Formation of galleries within the dams’ body.
• Construction of RC structures on dams’ crest.
