Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a Data Analyst in Dubai.

Role:

• Manage, support and develop Advanced Analytics using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Big Data ecosystem within IT.
• Help in building Analytics Strategy by doing assessment of analytics maturity and providing road map.
• Direct and build advanced data science algorithms, predictive models, forecasting models and optimization models.
• Help in assessing data patterns from structured/un-structured data and implementation of supervised and un-supervised machine learning.
• Provide first level of support for Advanced Analytics solution and ensure required data ingestion & processing is completed as required.
• Raise and follow-up with vendors where required for troubleshooting/fixes ensuring that the standard SLAs are met.
• Work with Big Data and Enterprise Architecture team ensure that Big Data landscape has required components for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Analytics.
• Ensure that appropriate security controls are in place.
• Access to data is restricted only to authorized users as approved and granted by access control team.
• Periodically review Advances Analytics solutions and conduct health checks.
• Ensure that system resources are adequate for increasing analytical loads and are being optimally utilized.
• Assist and guide other teams on capabilities of Advance Analytics & Al. Also, guide ETL/ingestion and Reporting team to ensure appropriate best practice are used when designing data ingestion/reports.
• Gathering requirements from business users for projects, tasks, operational request and enhancements for technical teams.
• Coordination between project and business teams during the execution of projects and tasks.
• Support for UAT of projects and tasks including preparation of documents and approvals .
• Follow up the tracks Services, Co-ordinate Vendor Support Issues, respond to service tickets in a timely fashion.
• Track, resolve and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes.
• Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.
• Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users' needs and within the agreed upon time parameters.
• Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional from line manager to achieve an exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to bank group including international expansion.
• Support go-live and post go-live activities for projects and any releases to production.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) environment and ensure that DR requirements including related documentation are met.

Take part in DR test drills.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience
• Bachelor of Technology/Engineering, Bachelor of Science (Computers)
