Job description / Role
Data Engineer - Informatica
With experience in Big Data platforms such as AWS, Azure and Spark, this individual will work closely with other stakeholders to ensure the quality of data and the systems implemented are upheld to the highest standards possible.
As the Data Engineer, you will design the big data solution for storing and retrieving the Data models, data mining and segmentation techniques using big data technologies.
Client Details
A government organisation in the UAE that has heavily invested in their data capability, now looking to expand their data engineering & management team.
Description
* Build, test and maintain data connectors and data pipelines required for data acquisition in the platform
* Work with data owners, stewards and data governance and compliance team to understand the business rules and to deploy them into the ETL / ELTs as well as integrate them with the existing dashboards
* Support in the development of use cases and build the data models and data flows required to support analytical model development
* Maintain the data quality of dashboards and reports consistently with the relevant internal and external stakeholder

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistic, Information Systems or another quantitative field is preferred.
* At least 5 years' experience working in a Data Engineering role with experience in Big Data platforms like AWS, Azure, Spark, Hive, etc.
* Locally based with a preference for Arabic speakers - desirable, not a must have.
