Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Within this role you will be responsible for supporting and implementing all aspects of the data protection framework and advising on privacy matters surrounding data protection
• Provide advice and support to implement framework across the organisation including developing guidance for our organisation
• Identify, assess, and mitigate personal data protection risks
• Drive Data Ethics and Data Privacy compliance initiatives, implementation, and coordination across business areas
• Develop training material and provide training
• Review of internal and external data privacy requirements and conduct data protection impact assessments and conduct risk monitoring and reporting.
• Take part in due diligence process for business development projects
• Drive the design, continuous improvement, and assessment of data privacy controls with business areas to achieve consistent implementation, monitoring and reporting of risks.
• Acting as a regulatory expert, interacting with leaders and different stakeholders.
• Handle enquiries and issues relating to data subject requests including withdrawal of consent
• Conduct vendor risk assessments such as Vendor due diligence, Transfer Impact Assessment and contract reviews
• Design and improve Privacy Operational Tools such as Cookies, DSR, Assessment Automation, Consent Management, Incident Management and Data Mapping.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience dealing with GDPR or similar implementing processes in support of GDPR compliance
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with OneTrust (OT) or equivalent privacy management software (OT certification in particular data mapping and assessment automation modules is a plus)
• Experience in Data Discovery is a plus
• CIPP/E, CIPP/M or CIPT is a plus
• Experience of records of processing documentation & supporting on data privacy impact assessments
• Supporting clients on related query resolution and problem solving
• Ability to work very well across functions and cultures at all levels, internally and externally
• Working knowledge or familiarity of Third-Party Risk Management, Key Control frameworks, policy and guidelines as well as internal processes such as Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), Data Privacy & Service Level Agreements and Intragroup Agreements.
• Contractual understanding of DPAs, SCCs, DSAs, MSAs
