Job description / Role
As the Data Scientist, you will play a role that aligns with your experience, either hands-on or strategic, to implement advanced analytics, consolidate data, and enhance insights for executive leaders.
Given that the organisation operations within diverse domains, you will be responsible for creating a cohesive dataset strategy in the dedicated data business unit to elevate stakeholder management and optimise the data's value proposition internally.

Description
* Engage with internal stakeholders to understand specific analytics and insights requirements, ensuring realistic expectations and timelines are being established.
* Offer the Data team innovative approaches for more effective delivery, utilising data science, machine learning, or simpler algorithms where required.
* Provide guidance and advice to business users to develop valuable and insightful dashboards.
* Educate business users on BI best practices, data visualisation principles, and effective dashboard design.

Requirements
* Minimum of 8 years of experience. Ideally starting off as an Analyst and then growing into an Analytics or Data science-related role.
* Demonstrated experience in either diverse industries, consulting, or the public sector.
* Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and best practices. Ideally with smart analytics.
* Ability to analyze complex data and present it in a clear and actionable manner.
* Proficiency in Python and/or R for advanced analytics.
* Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics
