Data Warehouse IT Analyst

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a Commodity Trading company, who is looking to hire a Data Warehouse IT Analyst to join their team in Dubai.

The Data Warehouse IT Analyst will play a crucial part within the technology team as they grow and develop their inhouse functions. This individual will play a big role in designing the data warehouse and database.

The Analyst will be required to work closely with multiple teams to understand the data requirements, prepare and design ETL plan, and to be the main line of communication with developers.

In addition, this role will handle some of the latest technologies and will be given the opportunity to express own thoughts and opinions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will need 5+ years’ experience working within a data environment with strong exposure to cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Cloud, Azure, Spark, Python & REST APIs as well as previous hands-on experience in designing and building ETL processes.

Our client is looking for an innovative thinker who can be proactive with the ability to problem solve when required. The selected candidate will be working within the tech team but will be an individual contributor for specific projects. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, is preferred.
