Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a Real Estate organisation who is looking to hire a Database Administrator to join their team. As the Database Administrator you will represent Operations and cover operational requirements.
Your main responsibilities will be to undertake advanced administration tasks and maintain production environments. You will also tune the database configuration for optimum performance (performance tuning) and ensuring that the database recovery time is reduced. In addition, you will work closely with the development teams with effective schema design to achieve optimum performance.
Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a bachelors Degree in Computer Science and have a minimum of 6 years experience. You should also have strong database administration experience on multiple platforms. SQL Server HA/Oracle HA experience will be advantageous.
